Air Vent System
Unbaffled Ridge System (other brands)
Air Vent’s advanced design includes an external baffle that directs air flow up and over the vent, creating an area of negative pressure. This pressure pulls air out of the attic through the vent. The baffle also deflects rain and snow away from the attic.
Wind and elements can blow in directly through the vent. Air entering the vent creates pressure in the attic which prevents air and moisture from being pulled out. Strong winds can actually pass through one side of the vent and out the other, also preventing air and moisture from escaping.
Installed across the length of the roof, Multi-Pitch FilterVent eliminates the need for multiple roof vents that could detract from the appearance of your home.
